Don’t know about you,
but we don’t want to go to Mars with Elon

We’re Aimee & Sonia, co-founders of Couch to Carbon Zero - designed for busy people.

One fateful day in 2019, our world turned upside down. It was the day on which we had a massive awakening to the climate and ecological emergency.

We’d always known about global warming of course, you’d have to be living under a rock to not know that. But we had absolutely no idea that we were quite literally on the brink of extinction. The scale and severity of what we as a planet are facing and the very short time that we have to act, we just couldn't believe it. It all felt overwhelming, could we even make a difference?

But our planet is just too beautiful to lose.

We knew that people can feel powerless in the face of climate change (we certainly did). And frankly life is busy enough without having to save the planet on top! Yet it can’t be won without every one of us, can it?

We had to do everything in our power to help.

So we left our respective careers to dedicate our lives to the collective mission for our planet. We brought together our skills and talents. Aimee has a background in law, tax and HR consulting and Sonia started her career in music and publishing before becoming a Career & Executive coach. Both of us are natural born communicators, accustomed to working with leaders and like to get things done.

We wanted to find a way to help people see how powerful we all are in this story and how easy it is to use our choice, voice and wallet to have a real impact. And we believe that to bring people with you, it has to be positive and ideally fun. Who says that looking after our planet has to be downbeat and dreary?!

So we created Couch to Carbon Zero.

We’ve now taken thousands of employees through the Sprint, working with companies and organisations wanting to bring their people with them on the Race To Zero.

Hurrah!

Our sister company Every One of Us helps us all continue the journey, keeping everyone up to date on what’s new, important or exciting. We also do a live broadcast on Instagram - The Friday Eco Off - where we go head to head on our eco wins or fails of the week, in shameless competition.

It all boils down to this…

What we do now will dictate what happens over the next 10 years. And what happens over the next 10 years will dictate the future of humanity, the fate of our children and the survival of our beautiful planet.

What will we each say we did in this crucial time?

Let’s DO this.
